Kat & Zach
Kat needed a guitar player and Zach needed a vocalist, and since meeting in 2018 they haven’t stopped making music together. They decided to combine their musical visions after Kat came to Zach for a guitar lesson. Like it was fated to be, they met on her birthday! After playing over 200 shows in State College, Pennsylvania (home to Penn State University) including venues like the Bryce Jordan Center and the State Theatre, they decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee to expand their music careers. They're inspired by many artists and genres but are especially influenced by the Avett Brothers, Local Honeys & Senora May and folk/Americana music as a whole. The songs they write are heavily inspired by nature, people and things happening in the world around them.
